Founded in September 28th 1982 as B.B.F. - Sociedade de Representações de Máquinas e Motores, Lda, headquarters in Pombal, it has started its activity commercialising equipment for building construction and public works, specialised in in selling and assisting earth moving machines, stone crushing equipment, inert selection production and transportation of ready to use concrete.
In October 1988, after its headquarters moving to Coimbra, BBF has created a Environmental Department broadening its activity to the emerging market of environmental protection technologies. In 1990, BBF has concluded its first works on waterproofing by geosynthetics, either in sanitary embankments, or in ETAR or hydroagricultural works. Nowadays, BBF is also responsible for several biogas captation and burning systems produced on solid urban residues embankments (RSU), as for other studies on its energetic exploitation. With this know how, BBF has presented several geotechnical and effluent handling solutions.
